In relation to the aesthetic aspect, we have pursued a retro style that reminds us the old Vespas and Lambrettas which went across our cities in the sixties. We speak about a neoclassical and elegant look with large surfaces and soft and continuous lines, much like what we saw in the cars of the 40s and 50s. This search of fluid forms is clearly reflected on the retractable passenger`s footrests that, once folded, are perfectly aligned with the sides panels of the bike or also on the lower area of the fairing that almost completely hides the side stand of the scooter when it is folded.
Other elements that help to add some elegance to the scooter are the machined aluminum side plates with the Tohqi’s logo and the rear handle.
In contrast to this classic style, we have the LED’s brake light and the semi-digital speedometer which has been designed not to detract 'authenticity' to this retro look. This neoclassical aesthetic is also enhanced by the trailing link fork that besides being a nice tribute to the suspension system used by the old Lambrettas, it provides an improvement to the motorcycle handling.
