At the top of the screen we can see one of the first sketches made in Photoshop. The objective of this design was to define the direction in which we wanted to work. As can be seen, the final design changes substantially, although certain details have been kept. An element which we opted to remove was the fairing without radiator exhaust ducts, which although an interesting idea, aerodynamically speaking, it could result in mechanical problems due to excessive heat.
At last we looked for a solution adaptable to the different cooling needs. Because the side fairing is divided in two pieces it is easy to adjust the size of the radiator exhaust ducts therefore in warm days we can increase them and in cold days we can reduce or even close them looking for the lower aerodynamic drag that the clean and smooth shapes produce.
With regards to the air admission, we find the maximum pressure point at the motorcycle’s nose and it is here where we have placed the air intake.
