Title:Motorcycle Handling and Chassis Design.
Author: Tony Foale.
Publisher: Tony Foale.
Language: Spanish.
A magnificent book to get ahead on the study of the dynamical behaviour of motorcycles. Have you ever asked the question, why and how does a motorcycle enter into a curve, what does the gyroscopic effect consist of, what is the influence of the rake angle and trail in our motorcycles, what is the squat and dive...? All the answers can be found in this book written by the engineer, pilot, and constructer Tony Foale. A book written from experience, where each parameter has not only been studied but has been confirmed by the author. Here also, a review may be found on the history of the motorcycle where we are presented with the evolution of chassis and their suspension systems, a chapter on tyres, aerodynamics, comparative analysis of alternative suspension systems, etc. The only downfall is that it does not come with much information on the practical construction of chassis which can be found in the second volume of the book by John Bradley but even though it is a very much recommended book.
