The electric scooter Elipse has been a project developed for Tohqi Europe in the course of a year and a half. It has been a huge project if we take into account that only two people were involved throughout the whole process. On the one hand, Xavi Mellado has been in charge of the chassis, suspension, brakes and battery pack design. On the other hand, Pablo Gonzalez de Chaves has been responsible for the project management and planning, conceptual design, management of the prototype, package, ergonomics, fairing and seat design (styling and engineering), as well as for the footrests, rear handle, headlight, front turn signals, brake light and speedometer’s design.
In relation to the electric system (motor, controller and BMS), the electronic department of Tohqi has it already in an advanced phase of design and it will be an evolution of what we can see at the moment, in the ML scooter already marketed.
